The girl with the orange top

Guess what? I finally finished my orange silk top that was dangerously close to ending up in the UFO pile.

I finished all except the buttonholes about 2 months ago and then my new machine wouldn't sew the buttonholes without skipping stitches.

I tried putting paper behind, changing machine settings and ended up with general frustration. I then decided to bugger it and do then by hand (eek!).

All in all it didn't turn out too bad and I'm so pleased to have just finished it!

The vital stats (from SewWeekly)
Pattern: Colette Sencha
Fabric: Orange/peach silk from Jack Textile
Cost: $28 for the silk, 50c selfcover buttons (from a garage sale), already had interfacing
Wear again?: yes... I think so. Am wearing to work for the first time today.
